After clicking print, you need to swipe your SUNY Ulster ID to retrieve your print job.
1. Use your SUNY Ulster username and password to log on to one of the computers. Your printing account is tied to your computer login. When you sit down at a computer in the library, make sure that you have pressed CTRL+ALT+DEL and logged in with our username and password.
2. Print as usual. The default printer is the Toshiba print/scan/copy machine located in front of the Circulation Desk.
3. Within four hours, get your SUNY Ulster ID and go to the printer. Swipe your ID to authenticate. Press "Select Jobs" then "Print" what you need. WAIT a few seconds. Your printouts will be out soon. Remember to use the "Access" button to log out.
Save paper and money by not printing your PowerPoint presentations at all, or printing multiple slides to a page.
Instead of full page slides, select "6 Slides Horizontal." The slides are still legible but you'll use a lot less paper and toner.
If the slides have a dark background, use the Design tab to change the overall colors of the slides and remove a dark background.
Students receive $2 per credit at the time of registration. Community members receive a $5 starting balance at the time of account creation. To add value to a printing account, go to Student Accounts in Vanderlyn 204. Or use the link from the Printing Balance channel of the Home tab of the Portal to add value to your account online. The library cannot add value to or credit a printing account.
