Libby - Borrow and Download eBooks and Audiobooks

Libby is an app that allows for borrowing and downloading of ebooks and audiobooks. Through a partnership with the Nothern New York Library Network, members of the SUNY Ulster community have access to a wide selection of popular ebooks and audiobooks. Download the app to your device for the best user experience. Follow the instructions below to get started now.

Add the SUNY Ulster Library to the Libby app

The following instructions guide you through adding a library to your Libby app. The instructions are the same for first-time Libby users or for those who have already added one or more libraries.

Step 1
Download or open Libby on your device:

iOS devices: Apple App Store
Android devices: Google Play
Amazon Fire tablets: Amazon Appstore
Windows, Mac, and Chromebooks: libbyapp.com
Note: libbyapp.com works best in up-to-date versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.

Step 2
Open the Libby App. From the welcome screen, select "Add Library" and search for SUNY Ulster. 

Step 3
Select Northern New York Library Network, SUNY Ulster County Community College from the results list. The image below shows the corresponding search results in the Libby app.

Step 4
After selecting the Northern New York Library Network, choose "Sign In With My Card" as shown in the image below.

Step 5
You will be presented with a list of libraries as shown in the image below. Select "SUNY Ulster County Community College" and follow the prompts to log in through the SUNY Ulster portal.

That's it! You now have access to borrow from the SUNY Ulster catalog in Libby!
