Soylent Green

Charlton Heston plays a cop in this science-fiction horror story. The setting is New York in the year 2022, teeming with 40 million citizens, most of whom are out of work. Environmental erosion is almost complete and voluntary death is encouraged by government-sponsored clinics. For their food, the people have grown to rely on a wafer-like substance called soylent. As Heston investigates the murder of a magnate in the dictatorial Soylent Company, he comes face to face with the hideous truth about the secret ingredient of "Soylent Green."

Psycho

Horror melodrama in which a woman disappears after spending the night in an isolated motel which adjoins an eerie Victorian mansion, inhabited by a disturbed young man and his mother.

Hour of the Wolf

A brooding artist accompanied by his wife travels to a remote island where he hopes to escape his demons.

The Serpent's Egg

An American trapeze act comes to pre-World War II Germany; two of the members are trapped inside Berlin after the other commits suicide. They find work with Dr. Vergerus at St. Ana's clinic, and soon discover that all is not what it appears to be.

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari: A Film in Six Acts

In the film The cabinet of Dr. Caligari, a somnambulist commits murders under a hypnotist's influence. Also featured is a lengthy excerpt of Genuine. Both films are examples of the German Expressionist movement.

Cast: Werner Krauss, Conrad Veidt, Friedrich Fehér, Lil Dagover, Hans Hainz v. Twardowsky, Rudolph Lettinger. Genuine: Fern Andra.

Remake of F.W. Murnau's legendary 1922 horror classic Nosferatu.
